The Liberty Street Market is the largest neighborhood food pantry among all Freestore Foodbank community partners. It is a choice food pantry offering our customers foods of their choice according to family composition, nutritional needs, cooking availability, and tastes. Customer choices are augmented by fresh produce, pre-selected meals, and personal hygiene products. Homeless clients receive special boxes with foods that can be consumed without heating.
Task: Volunteers will stock shelves with groceries, assist customers during their shopping experience, staff the check-out counter, and perform simple housekeeping activities to keep the market clean and customer-friendly.
- Stay Healthy - If you are feeling under the weather we ask that you cancel your registration and come back and visit us when you feel better.
- All volunteers Must be registered before entering the building for a volunteer shift.
