Vice President/Board Vice

The Vice President/Board Vice Chair supports the Board Chair in providing effective leadership, governance, and oversight of the organization. The Vice Chair works collaboratively with the Board of Directors, executive leadership, and fellow board members to advance THA’s mission, strategic priorities, and organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Board Chair in leading board meetings and ensuring effective board governance.
• Preside over board meetings and perform the duties of the Chair when the Chair is unavailable.
• Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of the organization’s strategic goals and priorities.
• Work with board members and leadership to promote accountability, transparency, and informed decision-making.
• Serve on committees and participate actively in board discussions, planning, and organizational initiatives.
• Help foster strong communication and collaboration among board members, leadership, stakeholders, and the community.
• Represent THA in an appropriate leadership capacity at meetings, events, and community activities when requested.
• Support the Board Chair and executive leadership in addressing organizational priorities and emerging issues.
• Promote THA’s mission, values, and reputation through professional and ethical leadership.

The Vice President/Board Vice Chair should demonstrate strong leadership, communication, collaboration, judgment, and organizational skills, along with a commitment to THA’s mission and effective board governance.
