Yes 2 You is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is dedicated to empowering underserved youth and enriching the lives of seniors through transformative STEAM education and activities. Our mission is to provide high-quality STEAM learning experiences that integrate social and emotional learning for youth, and to offer intellectually stimulating activities for seniors that foster cognitive health and social connections.

YES 2 YOU is looking for enthusiastic Volunteer STEM Facilitators/Instructors to help lead our upcoming Senior STEM Programs!

In-class volunteers will assist in facilitating our STEM/STEAM programs and services for our adult seniors. All of our programs and services are centered around technology concepts. Technical and non-technical volunteers are welcome! The weekly activities for seniors will be held every other week on Mondays and Wednesdays from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm and Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm, 1 hour a day.

👩🏽‍🔬 What You’ll Do:

• Lead fun, hands-on STEM lessons and activities
• Facilitate a 60-minute weekly session
• Encourage participants to explore, build, experiment, and problem-solve
• Create a welcoming and supportive learning environment
• Help youth and older adults discover that

STEM is for everyone!

🎯 Who We’re Looking For:

• STEM professionals, educators, college students, retirees, or STEM enthusiasts
• Individuals who enjoy working with youth and/or older adults
• Patient, dependable, encouraging, and comfortable leading a small group
• You do not have to be a professional teacher — we provide the lesson plans and activity guidance!

All facilitators must successfully complete a background check before working with program participants.
