Educational Designer — Volunteer

Starr Prepp is a community organization providing free resources and support to students K-12 and families in Los Angeles. We're looking for a volunteer (NOT A PAID POSITION — nor a promise of future employment) Educational Designer to help us build content for Lume's Lab, our free educational platform for students and families. This is a real role with real responsibility. We're a small, fast-moving organization that is looking to build our team.

Responsibilities

• Create educational worksheets, guides, and activities for K-12 students and families
• Develop content aligned with real learning objectives and age-appropriate skill levels
• Design materials in Canva, following our existing style and templates
• Collaborate with our team on new content ideas (with approval before publishing)
• Background or coursework in education, child development, or a related field required

Time Commitment — 10 hours per week.

This role is UNPAID and volunteer-based. In exchange, we offer:
