The Durham Center for Senior Life is searching for a volunteer to lead "Bingocize" games twice a week. Bingocize is an evidence-based program geared towards getting older adults moving and learning more options for exercise. The program involves calling bingo, and leading a couple exercises between every few numbers called. The games would be twice a week for about three months and there is some flexibility with the time and days as long as the schedule is the same each week. Training will be provided free of charge.
We have a new location off of North Roxboro Ave. in north Durham and the "Bingocize" program can be lead at either our Downtown or North Durham location.
We are on the corner of Hunt Street and Rigsbee Ave in downtown Durham, North Carolina. Our parking lot and main reception entrance can be found at 131 Hunt Street.
Please check out our website www.dcslnc.org to learn more about our organization and find our volunteer application under the "Get Involved" tab.
