Time Commitment: Flexible shifts available across all three days
About the Opportunity
The Association of Hidradenitis Suppurativa & Inflammatory Diseases (AHSID) is seeking passionate, reliable volunteers to support our 2026 I RECLAIM HS Summit—a powerful, patient-centered experience designed to educate, empower, and connect individuals living with Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS) and other inflammatory diseases.
This year’s theme, “Rooted in Us,” centers community, healing, and collective support. Volunteers play a critical role in helping us create a space where attendees feel seen, supported, and cared for.

Volunteer Roles & Responsibilities
We are recruiting volunteers to support across several areas:
Event Logistics
- Assist with setup and breakdown
- Help manage materials, signage, and room transitions
- Support overall flow of the event
Attendee Experience
- Greet and check in attendees
- Provide directions and general support throughout the venue
- Help create a warm, welcoming environment
Speaker & Session Support
- Assist speakers with timing and transitions
- Support session setup and basic needs
- Help facilitate Q&A and audience engagement when needed
Vendor & Partner Support
- Assist vendors with setup and coordination
- Ensure vendor areas run smoothly
Media & Content Support
- Support light content capture (behind-the-scenes moments, photos, short videos)
- Assist the media team with coordination as needed
Community Engagement & Promotion
- Help spread awareness before and during the event
- Support on-site activations and engagement activities
Who Should Apply
We’re looking for individuals who are:
- Passionate about health equity, advocacy, and community care
- Friendly, dependable, and proactive
- Comfortable engaging with diverse groups of people
- Interested in supporting a meaningful, patient-centered experience
No prior experience is required—just a willingness to show up and support with care.

Additional Information
