Spanish-Speaking Hospice Volunteer – Provide Companionship and Comfort

We are seeking a Spanish-speaking volunteer to offer conversation, companionship, and emotional support to hospice patients and their families. This role is ideal for someone who wants to make a meaningful difference by providing a compassionate presence during an important time in people’s lives.

Hospice volunteers help bring comfort, dignity, and moments of joy to patients through simple human connection—listening, talking, and being present. The rewards of hospice volunteering are deeply meaningful and life-enriching, benefiting both those we serve and those who volunteer.

Volunteer Responsibilities:

• Engage in friendly conversation with Spanish-speaking hospice patients
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Offer a calm, compassionate presence to patients and families

Training & Support:

• Comprehensive volunteer training that is both uplifting and informative
• Training is self-paced and can be completed on your schedule
• Ongoing support from our hospice care team

Health & Safety:

• All COVID-19 safety and infection control measures are followed
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided
