Volunteer for Wells Bring Hope 2026 Annual Fundraiser

Want to have a fun afternoon while helping our great cause?

We need volunteers to assist at our 17th annual fundraiser on Sunday, September 27, 2026. It will be at a beautiful home in Beverly Hills, and the event will have a theme of "Broadway Comes to Beverly Hills". Each volunteer is encouraged to wear clothes that are Cool, Colorful, Comfortable -- and theme related, if desired. You can do it with a friend or two, and we promise it will be a memorable time.

Timing:

Volunteers will be assigned one of the two available shifts (or both if you wish):

Shift 1: 12:00 to 3:30 PST

• • Help set up for event

Shift 2: 2:30 - 8:00 pm:

• • Help with setting up
  • Assist with check in of attendees
  • Be at a silent auction table
  • Help with auction checkout
  • Assist with wrapping up event

The actual event will start at 4 pm and end at 7 pm.

Ideally, we'd like as much of your time as you're willing to give. We are looking for persons who are:

• • Warm and able to make guests feel welcome
  • Reliable and responsible - can be counted on to fulfill commitment to show up on time & stay until the end of the assigned shift

Food: A light dinner will be provided to volunteers.

Credit: You can receive community service credit for your time and effort.

Who are we? Wells Bring Hope drills wells to bring safe water to rural villages in Niger and Mali, West Africa, two of the poorest countries in the world - where one out of 7 children die before their 5th birthday. We are committed to saving lives with safe water and providing sustainable solutions to transform lives for generations to come. The burden of getting water falls upon women and girls who walk 4-6 miles a day to find water. It means that young girls don't go to school and women can't work productively to earn money for their families. We drill deep wells to access clean water, freeing women from the endless walking to get water for their families.
