Volunteer Corporate Partnerships & Donor Relations Specialist

Al-Majed International Organization (USMIO) is a Philadelphia-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit seeking experienced volunteers to help expand our corporate, philanthropic, and community partnerships.

We are looking for professionals with experience in business development, fundraising, corporate social responsibility (CSR), donor relations, community engagement, or nonprofit partnerships.

Responsibilities may include:

• Identifying companies, foundations, hospitals, universities, banks, retailers, and community organizations that may be a strong fit for partnership with USMIO.

• Helping us identify and connect with appropriate decision-makers and community relations/CSR contacts.

• Supporting outreach strategy, introductions, partnership conversations, and follow-up.

• Helping develop opportunities for financial donations, in-kind donations, sponsorships, services, and long-term partnerships.

• Advising USMIO leadership on relationship-building and partnership development.

Ideal candidates have a strong professional network, preferably in Philadelphia or Pennsylvania, and experience developing partnerships or donor relationships. Retired executives and professionals with corporate, nonprofit, healthcare, banking, university, foundation, or community-relations backgrounds are especially welcome.

This is a flexible, unpaid volunteer/pro bono opportunity. Hybrid participation is preferred, but qualified remote volunteers may also be considered.

Grant writing is not required for this role. Our current focus is relationship-building, partnerships, donor development, and opening doors to new opportunities.
