This is a volunteer position for U.S. residents only. We are seeking a strategic, organized, and collaborative Project Manager to partner with our Director of Operations in moving key organizational initiatives from ideas to action.

Aeon for Ocean has exciting initiatives underway across our organization, and we are looking for someone who can help bring structure, coordination, and momentum to this work. The Project Manager will support strategic planning, develop actionable project plans, coordinate efforts across teams, and provide consistent follow-up to help projects move forward.

This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys taking a big-picture idea, identifying what needs to happen next, and bringing the right people together to make it happen.

Your Impact on our Mission/Responsibilities:

This position will help Aeon for Ocean turn organizational priorities into meaningful action. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Strategic Planning and Project Management:

• Partner with the Director of Operations to translate organizational priorities and ideas into clear project plans, timelines, milestones, and actionable next steps
• Support strategic planning for new and ongoing organizational initiatives
• Track project progress and follow up on action items, deadlines, dependencies, and outstanding decisions
• Help identify potential roadblocks and work collaboratively with stakeholders to determine solutions and next steps
• Create and maintain project trackers, roadmaps, and other tools that provide visibility into organizational initiatives

Cross-Functional Coordination:

• Coordinate initiatives involving multiple Aeon for Ocean teams and help ensure stakeholders understand their roles, responsibilities, and next steps
• Facilitate communication between departments to keep projects aligned and moving forward
• Bring together the appropriate people, information, and resources needed to advance organizational priorities
• Document project decisions, responsibilities, timelines, and follow-up items

Website and Digital Initiatives:

• Support the planning and prioritization of website updates and improvements
• Gather needs and feedback from internal stakeholders and coordinate with the appropriate teams to move website initiatives forward
• Help ensure website projects align with broader organizational and educational goals

Education and Organizational Alignment:

• Collaborate with Education and other teams to explore opportunities to make Aeon for Ocean's educational resources more accessible, intuitive, and user-friendly
• Help connect educational initiatives with broader organizational priorities and projects
• Identify opportunities to improve coordination and alignment between teams as Aeon for Ocean continues to grow
