This opportunity requires some heavy lifting. Volunteers will be on their feet most of the time, but are of course encouraged to rest as much as needed.
Descripción
Unbox food and organize it on the shelves. Fill bags with food to be handed out on food distribution days. This position is especially important and helpful to The Urban Mission as it alleviates some of the hard work of readying for food distribution days. Due to Covid, we have reformatted our Food Resource Center from a walk-through setup to a drive through in order to maintain the safety of clients and volunteers. This position is integral to the success of our food distribution days.
