This is a 6-12 month mandate in Cochabamba, Bolivia.
The mandate stems from the Equality in Action Voluntary Cooperation Program (PCV), which is being rolled out in 12 countries and 3 regions over an eight-year period (2020-2028). The PCV aims to increase the involvement of local partner organizations in countries of intervention in inclusive, innovative and sustainable initiatives that will advance gender equality. Oxfam's role is to support these organizations, working with the most vulnerable and marginalized people, to claim and exercise their rights. Oxfam puts the rights of women, girls and vulnerable and marginalized people at the heart of everything we do.
Here's what your daily life will look like:
In close collaboration with Oxfam's in Bolivia team members, your mandate will be to:
- Design and validate an innovative “inclusive recycling” model that integrates environmental sustainability, economic viability, and social inclusion of women;
- Establish collaborative processes to foster a shared understanding, build strategic partnerships, and mobilize resources (financial, material, and technical) with key stakeholders from the public and private sectors as well as social organizations;
- Coordinate and supervise, in collaboration with the FUNDES team, the implementation of the social innovation pilot project, ensuring systematic documentation and knowledge transfer;
- Document key results, significant learnings, and recommendations to ensure the project’s sustainable and effective future implementation
For this mandate you must:
- Be a Canadian citizen or have permanent resident status in Canada;
- Have university degree in social and economic sciences, social innovation project management, development and innovation or other relevant field;
- Be fluent in Spanish, spoken and written (required);
- Have at least 3 years of experience related to the mandate;
- Master the Office, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Facebook Business, Hootsuite, Canva.
