Volunteer Opportunity: Be the Voice of a Good Book 📚
Do you love reading aloud?
Providence Home Health & Hospice is looking for caring volunteers to spend time reading to hospice patients who can no longer comfortably read on their own.
Whether it's a favorite novel, newspaper, devotional, magazine, or inspiring story, your voice can provide comfort, companionship, and meaningful moments.
Volunteer Responsibilities:
- Read books, magazines, newspapers, or devotionals to patients.
- Visit patients in homes or care facilities within a 60-mile radius of Wichita.
- Provide companionship through conversation and the joy of reading.
- Visits are scheduled around your availability.
No medical experience is needed. We provide training, orientation, and ongoing support.
