Be the Heart of a Home Away from Home! Volunteers Needed

Are you looking for a way to give back and connect with others in a meaningful, hands-on way?

The mission of the Hanson House Foundation is to provide Coachella Valley residents with a very affordable 'Home away from Home" for their families or loved ones visiting them for trauma, cancer or critical care treatment at our local hospitals.

We are seeking compassionate and reliable volunteers to facilitate onsite activities for our guests. In this role, you will work directly with families and cancer patients, offering support, encouragement, and a welcoming presence.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist with and lead engaging wellness and art therapy activities
• Provide hands-on support to guests during sessions
• Help foster a warm, inclusive, and positive environment

What We’re Looking For:

• A caring, empathetic attitude and strong interpersonal skills
• Interest in wellness, creative arts, and community service
• Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to guest needs
• Reliability and a willingness to learn
