Polish‑Speaking Volunteer Needed for Friendly Visits
We’re looking for a compassionate volunteer who speaks Polish to spend time with a legally blind gentleman who has faced many challenges over the past 18 months. This former auto mechanic is eager to reconnect with the community and would truly enjoy:
- Taking a slow, easy walk
- Listening to short readings from Polish newspapers
- Sharing friendly, casual conversation
He doesn’t have many opportunities to look forward to outside of medical appointments, so even a little time and companionship would make a meaningful difference in his week.
If you enjoy connecting with others and want to brighten someone’s day, this could be a wonderful way to help.
