    Descripción

    This is a 6-month mandate based in Tunisia, in Sibi-Bouzid.

    The mandate is part of the Equality in Action Voluntary Cooperation Programme (PCV), which is being rolled out in 12 countries and 3 regions over an eight-year period (2020-2028). The PCV aims to increase the involvement of local partners in the countries of intervention in inclusive, innovative and sustainable initiatives that will advance gender equality. Oxfam's role is to support these organisations, working with the most vulnerable and marginalised people, to claim and exercise their rights. Oxfam puts the rights of women, girls and vulnerable and marginalised people at the heart of all its actions.

    Your daily responsibilities will include:

    Under the coordination of Oxfam Tunisia and in close collaboration with the PCV programme manager in Tunisia and members of the ATAC team, your role will involve:

    • Support the team in understanding and practising the processes and content involved in developing a funding proposal, submitting it and following up on the submitted application;
    • Develop a map of donors and financial partners in line with ATAC’s strategy;
    • Support the association in developing a resource mobilisation strategy;
    • Explore alternative and innovative funding opportunities with the partner.

    For this mandate, you must:

    • Hold Canadian citizenship or permanent resident status in Canada;
    • Have a university degree in international development, project management, or any other relevant field;
    • Have at least two years’ professional experience relevant to the role, particularly in adult education;
    • Be able to adapt to an uncertain and changing environment and have a high tolerance for uncertainty;
    • Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite;
    • Be fluent in spoken and written French (mandatory). Proficiency in Arabic or English is an asset.
