Local Grocery Store Pickup Help for Nonprofit Food program in San Mateo Area

Samaritan House has a food rescue partnership with several grocery stores within the San Mateo/Peninsula. As a volunteer driver, your role would be to drive to an assigned grocery store in the area, collect the donations in you vehicle, and bring them to our main headquarters in San Mateo.
We are able to utilize these products either to create the hundreds of warm meals that go out every day or to distribute directly to our clients through our drive-through pantry program. The pick-up time is different for every store but it is generally within the timeframe of 8:00am - 10:30am. There are routes that are in need of ongoing, weekly support but if that does not work with your availability we would be happy to add you to our sub list.
