Volunteer Project Managers – Fundraising

Remote | Flexible, approx. 6 hrs/week (Now–Nov 2025)

Victory Afghanistan is a grassroots, Chicago-registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We are a completely volunteer-driven organisation providing free, high-quality online education and mentorship to over 800 girls and young women in Afghanistan, where gender apartheid has barred them from high school, university, and careers. Our programme delivers six levels of English instruction through our online academy, followed by three mentorship pathways leading to online scholarships, international scholarships, and career readiness for remote work.

We are currently seeking several volunteer Project Managers to join our international team from now until the end of November 2025.

What We’re Looking For

Ideally, project or fundraising experience (nonprofit background in the U.S. a plus)

Courage, resolution, and the drive to help us secure donations, benefactors, and partnerships

Willingness to give up to 6 hours a week on a fully remote, flexible basis

Open-mindedness, while experience is valuable, we also welcome those with strong initiative and fresh ideas

What You’ll Do

Lead and mentor small teams of Afghan project coordinators already engaged in fundraising efforts

Help shape proposals and outreach strategies

You will be assigned to manage one of the following initiatives:

Providing 800 laptops for students

Covering internet data/credit each semester for 800 students

Supporting core staff and operational costs

Expanding our student mental health fund

Advancing our Scotland initiative for higher education abroad

Building a Higher Education Fund for international study opportunities
