Seeking a Volunteer Content Creator for HI Los Angeles Santa Monica Hostel

Key Responsibilities:
- Attend and document at least 1-2 events per month
- Capture high-quality, vertical photos and 10-15 second video clips (beginning, middle, and end) of events.
- Ensure videos feature left-to-right panning and highlight guest experience and interaction
- Work within set guidelines for photo and video styles to maintain consistency across content.
- Interest in content creation, photography, and/or videography.
- Ability to capture events with a focus on storytelling.
- Familiarity with Apple products and/or willingness to learn about vertical video formats and panning techniques.
- A friendly, approachable demeanor to engage with guests and capture their interactions.
- An interest in history and/or tourism is a plus, but not required!

- Volunteer in a fun, social environment with a global community.
- Meet and learn from other Santa Monica residents that also volunteer.
- Learn about Santa Monica’s history and culture through exclusive HI USA programs.
- Build skills in public speaking, languages, and intercultural communication.
- Earn HI USA membership and hostel overnights*
