Virtual Hospitals Africa is looking for a senior volunteer to lead the effort to engineer user experiences with the potential to connect millions of Africans to health care.
About Us
We are a non-profit addressing a vital healthcare gap in rural Africa. Our telemedicine platform links frontline workers with global specialists, enabling continuous care, early risk detection, and improved patient outcomes.
The Role
Our Lead Core Medical Engineer will help build out the backend behind our core medical model, supporting all key clinical workflows.
What You'll Do
- Lead the engineering effort for a core medical model that supports data capture of a patient record while supporting the specific clinical workflows needed in rural settings🩺
- Work with an incredible international team of product leaders, engineers, and designers ✨
- Ship code fast in a supportive environment 🚀

- An engineer with proven experience shipping quality software ready to take a leadership role 🦾
