    Descripción

    We are looking for friendly, reliable volunteers to works in the volunteer-operated general store in our retirement community. The corner store is a valuable lifeline for our residents, ensuring that they have access to the things they need.

    Your duties would be to ensure that items are paid for whether via deduction or cash, interact with residents and staff, and keep the store tidy.

    The store operates from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday. There are three shifts per day from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm, and 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. We ask that Corner Store volunteers commit to at least one shift per month to ensure consistent store hours for our residents. Many volunteers work a regular shift, i.e. every Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.

    All ERS volunteers are required to undergo a background check and orientation and be fully vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine.

    3 shifts available:

    • 10:00 to 12:00 EST
    • 12:00 to 14:00 EST
    • 14:00 to 16:00 EST
