    Position Overview

AIN is seeking a Learning & Capacity Development Fellow (Volunteer) to support the development of educational and capacity-building pathways connected to entrepreneurship, professional development, trade, investment, and ecosystem engagement.

The fellow will support research, partnership engagement, and program development efforts related to learning opportunities that can help strengthen participation across Africa and diaspora communities—particularly among entrepreneurs, professionals, youth, and women.

    • Support outreach and engagement efforts with institutions aligned with AIN’s mission and ecosystem priorities
    • Assist with partnership tracking and stakeholder coordination

    Program Development Support

    • Contribute to the development of learning and professional development pathways for entrepreneurs, diaspora professionals, youth, and women
    • Support concept development for workshops, virtual learning engagements, and ecosystem capacity-building initiatives
    • Assist with research and benchmarking of innovative workforce and entrepreneurship development models

    • Support preparation of briefing materials, concept notes, and internal research summaries
    • Help identify emerging opportunities to strengthen ecosystem participation and knowledge access

    Qualifications

    • Strong research and organizational skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
    • Interest in Africa-focused development, entrepreneurship, diaspora engagement, or workforce development
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

    Preferred:
