Volunteer Opportunity: Haitian Flag Day Celebration 2026

Join Little Haiti BK (LHBK) as a volunteer for our Haitian Flag Day Celebration at Brooklyn College!

We’re looking for energetic, dependable volunteers to help create a fun, safe, and engaging experience for children, families, and community members as we celebrate Haitian culture and heritage.

This is a great opportunity to give back, connect with the community, earn volunteer hours, and be part of a meaningful cultural celebration.

Volunteer Shifts

Choose one shift or sign up for both:

🕘 Shift 1: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

🕚 Shift 2: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Volunteer Roles May Include

• Event setup and breakdown
• Assisting with children’s arts & crafts
• Registration and attendance support
• Snack and materials distribution
• General event support
• Helping create a welcoming atmosphere

Dress Code

• Comfortable attire encouraged
• Haitian Flag colors (red & blue) welcome
• Comfortable footwear recommended
