Help Us Beautify a Healing Space – Handyman & Property Volunteers Needed

The Life Center is a Tampa nonprofit providing grief, loss, and trauma support to individuals and families in our community. For more than four decades, we have created a safe and welcoming place for people navigating some of life's most difficult experiences.

Our home is part of that experience! The Life Center operates from a beautiful historic bungalow, and we are looking for caring, community-minded volunteers who enjoy fixing, painting, gardening, organizing, and making spaces feel welcoming.

We would love help with projects such as:

• Minor handyman projects and repairs
• Painting and touch-ups
• Yardwork, gardening and landscaping
• Pressure washing and outdoor cleanup
• Hanging shelves, pictures, signs, and other items
• Small carpentry projects
• Organizing storage and supply areas
• General property beautification
• Seasonal cleanup and improvement projects
• Helping us identify small repairs or improvements that our team may have overlooked

You do not need to be a professional contractor to volunteer. We welcome individuals who are handy around the house, retirees, corporate volunteer teams, community groups, college students, and anyone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and helping.

We are also very interested in connecting with skilled tradespeople who may be willing to donate occasional expertise for projects requiring more experience.
