Community Garden Volunteer Cleanup Day

Join Jerry and the Senior Gents of East New York and NYC Parks GreenThumb for a hands-on volunteer day cleaning up the garden! You can help with basic tasks like collecting debris, removing weeds, and reorganizing garden furniture. This is a great opportunity for new and experienced gardeners looking to get involved in community gardening.

We'll provide all the tools, training, and guidance to have a productive and safe volunteer day! Please wear closed work shoes and weather-appropriate clothing and bring water and snacks. Note some tasks will involve lifting heavy materials and extended periods of bending, squatting, and moving.
