Friendly Visitors Needed at ACC Senior Services!

The Friendly Visitor Program offers meaningful in-home companionship and respite support for caregiving families. By volunteering, you help caregivers take a well-deserved break to focus on their personal health, errands, or rest while ensuring their loved ones are engaged, safe, and socially connected.

Care recipients also benefit from warm, friendly interaction and enjoyable social enrichment activities provided by you, the volunteer.

What You’ll Do as a Volunteer

As a Friendly Visitor, you will provide non-medical companionship and engagement. Volunteers do not provide personal care, transportation, or housekeeping services.

Activities may include:

• Offering companionship and safety supervision
• Taking short, gentle walks or participating in light, non-medical exercise
• Doing arts and crafts together
• Reading aloud, or enjoying TV shows and movies together
• Playing board games or card games
