Volunteers Needed! Administrative and Direct Care for Hospice

Become an Administrative Volunteer in our Paris, TX office. Help with general office duties, errands, calls, and learn about hospice, healthcare, HIPAA, etc. High School and College students can earn credits, and receive a referral letter.

Our Direct Care Volunteers visit patients in their home, or in a facility. No license is required, as this role does not include any physical or medical care. It is strictly companionship and support. Training is provided.

Veterans are needed for our Veteran to Veteran/We Honor Veterans program.

Vigil Volunteers sit with patients at the end of life. This is a special role that brings such comfort to patients and their families. Experience is preferred for placement on vigil.

Have a registered support animal? You can provide Pet Therapy for our patients.

All Volunteers must pass a background check, drug screening, and TB test. You must have a valid driver's license, current car insurance, 2 references, and complete our onboarding and training requirements. As you will be working with patients and their confidential information.

Our service area includes 10 counties: Lamar, Red River, Titus, Franklin, Wood, Camp, Hopkins, Morris, Cass, and Bowie. If you live in any of those areas, we'd love to have you!
