Responsibilities

Volunteers will fulfill some of the following duties, as needed and based on interest and availability:

• Help build and manage the organization’s social media presence, including platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, and other relevant channels.
• Create engaging, shareable content tailored to specific platforms that promotes our mission, programs, events, and positive impact in the community.
• Monitor and engage in relevant online conversations related to our organization, youth development, fitness, health, education, and nonprofit work — interacting with existing supporters and reaching new audiences.
• Assist with social media promotions and campaigns, helping track engagement and overall effectiveness (e.g., post reach, shares, comments, event interest).
• Collaborate with other marketing and leadership team members to distribute content that educates, inspires, and entertains, while supporting organizational goals.
• Attend and support outreach efforts when needed, including visits to facilities, camps, schools, and community organizations that serve children and families.
• Help share our mission in person by providing information about programs, events, and special offers, and distributing flyers or promotional materials when appropriate.
• Travel locally, as needed, to partner locations or events aligned with our focus on youth fitness, sports, nutrition, education, special needs outreach, and healthy lifestyles.
