Otherwise known as 'Branch or Group Officers', our local volunteer network is the beating heart of the MND Association in our communities.
They’re the main presence on the ground—organising events, raising awareness, and providing vital support. There are so many ways to get involved:
Help plan and run local events Boost their digital presence and share stories online Join the committee and shape the future of local support
Whatever your skills or interests, there’s a role for you.

Get in touch and we can explore what you're interested in and where you're based to match you up with the perfect volunteering role for you.
These roles are recruited through Safer Recruitment processes, which means the process includes a
structured interview and two references.
Successful applicants will complete a structured induction pathway, involving e-learning modules.
Volunteers receive ongoing local support from their allocated Community Support Coordinator (‘CSC’)
who shall set up regular check-in and review sessions for ongoing support and development.
