This opportunity is open to participants aged 16 and above and is suitable for students, recent graduates and young people who want to gain practical experience while immersing themselves in Ghanaian life.

What You May Do

As a French Teaching Assistant, you may:

• Support teachers with French language lessons and classroom activities
• Help students practice French vocabulary, speaking and communication
• Assist with reading, conversation, games and interactive learning
• Encourage students through engaging educational activities
• Support extracurricular and cultural learning activities
• Participate in educational and community activities

Your responsibilities will be matched to your age, experience, skills and placement needs, with appropriate guidance and supervision.

Important: Self-Funded Opportunity

This is a self-funded international volunteer and internship opportunity.

Participants are responsible for funding their travel to and from Ghana, visa or entry requirements, travel insurance, vaccinations or health requirements where applicable, personal expenses and the applicable SFLIG Volunteers program fees.

The placement takes place onsite in Ghana.

SFLIG Volunteers provides participants with local placement coordination, orientation and ongoing support during their experience.
