Volunteer Strategic Planning Advisor

New Era Creative Space (NECS) is seeking an experienced Volunteer Strategic Planning Advisor to support our Board of Directors as we strengthen our strategic direction and identify priorities for the organization's next phase of growth.

The Advisor will work with NECS leadership in preparation for an upcoming Board meeting on October 4, 2026, helping us organize key strategic conversations, clarify priorities, and create a productive framework for Board discussion and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities: Reviewing existing organizational goals and strategic materials. Meeting with leadership in advance of the Board meeting. Helping develop the structure and agenda for the October 4 strategic planning discussion. Identifying key strategic questions for Board consideration. Facilitating or co-facilitating the strategic planning portion of the Board meeting. Helping capture key decisions, themes, and recommended next steps. Providing a simple post-meeting summary or strategic framework for NECS to build upon.

Ideal Background: Strategic planning, nonprofit leadership or governance, board development, organizational development, business or management consulting, facilitation and stakeholder engagement.
