Special Olympics NC: Fall Sports Coaches & Volunteers - McDowell County

Special Olympics North Carolina is looking for enthusiastic Volunteers & Coaches to help athletes develop skills, build confidence, and experience the joy of competition.

No matter what your sports passion is - your leadership can have a lasting impact!

Coaches Needed For:

• Bocce
• Equestrian
• Flag Football
• Golf
• Pickleball
• Soccer
• Softball

Volunteer Coaches Will:

• Teach sport-specific skills and fundamentals
• Encourage teamwork, confidence, and sportsmanship
• Lead or assist with practices
• Prepare athletes for competitions
• Create a fun, positive, and inclusive environment

We're Looking For People Who:

• Enjoy working with others
• Have a passion for sports and community service
• Want to make a meaningful difference
• Can commit to practices and competitions during the season

No coaching experience is required. Special Olympics North Carolina provides training, resources, and coach certification.
