Join Us During a Pivotal Time of Transition and Growth: EcoWB is currently navigating a significant phase of transition as we grow from an all-volunteer organization to building a small staff team. We are seeking active leaders to join our Board of Directors to help support and guide this evolution. This is a unique opportunity to provide critical oversight, contribute expertise, and help shape the future of our organization as we strengthen our impact and advance our mission. Ideal candidates will be ready to fully engage in implementing EcoWB’s strategic plan, engage in resource development, and help provide organizational leadership to ensure a sustainable and thriving future for EcoWB.

We are looking for Board members who bring diverse perspectives, professional expertise, and a deep commitment to environmental conservation and social justice. We are especially interested in candidates with strong backgrounds in philanthropy and nonprofit governance who can help guide strategic growth and advance our mission.

What We’re Looking For:

• Passion for sustainability, ecological integrity, and an interest in helping environmentally vulnerable communities to improve their lives.
• Experience in nonprofit governance & operations, fundraising, communications, philanthropy, or environmental science and management
• Commitment to active participation in monthly board, committee meetings, and strategic initiatives
• Willingness to serve a 3-year term, renewable for up to three consecutive terms (a maximum of 9 years)
