Bilingual Patient Support & Translation Volunteer (English/Spanish)

Responsibilities
- Translate educational materials, flyers, forms, and resource information between English and Spanish.
- Support communication with Spanish-speaking participants and families.
- Provide language support during community events and outreach activities when needed.
- Help connect participants with available community resources and support programs.
- Assist with culturally inclusive outreach efforts within Hispanic and Latino communities.
- Represent BbellaBstrong in a professional, compassionate, and respectful manner.
Qualifications
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and verbal).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, reliable, and culturally sensitive.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
- Passion for supporting women and families affected by breast cancer.
- Previous translation, community outreach, nonprofit, healthcare, or advocacy experience is a plus but not required.
Time Commitment
Flexible volunteer opportunities are available based on organizational needs and volunteer availability. Opportunities may be remote, in-person, or hybrid depending on the project or event.

We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds who are passionate about supporting women affected by breast cancer. Bilingual English/Spanish volunteers are especially encouraged to apply.
Please complete the application and answer the screening questions to the best of your ability. No prior volunteer or nonprofit experience is required. We value compassion, reliability, and a willingness to serve our community.
Selected applicants may be contacted for a brief phone or virtual conversation to discuss volunteer opportunities, availability, and areas of interest. All volunteers will receive an orientation to our mission, programs, and expectations before beginning their service.
