    We are seeking a Human Resources Assistant (Operations Support) to support the day-to-day execution of HR operations and ensure everything stays organized, accurate, and on track.

    Because strong HR isn’t just strategy.

    It’s consistent, reliable execution.

    The Role

    This role provides administrative and operational support across HR functions, ensuring processes run efficiently and documentation is accurate and complete.

    You will support tracking, coordination, and communication across HR activities.

    You are not just completing tasks.

    You are keeping the HR engine running.

    This role plays a critical support function in enabling consistency, scalability, and efficiency across HR operations.

    What You’ll Own

    HR Administrative & Operational Support

      • Provide day-to-day support for HR operations
      • Assist with execution of HR processes
      • Ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time

    HR Documentation & Record Management

      • Maintain organized HR records, including:
      • Volunteer documentation
      • Performance records
      • Onboarding and offboarding files
      • Ensure documentation is complete and properly stored
      • Support audit readiness

    Data Entry & Tracking

      • Update and maintain HR tracking systems:
      • Recruitment pipeline
      • Workforce records
      • HR dashboards
      • Ensure data accuracy and timely updates
      • Partner with HR Analyst for data consistency

    Onboarding & Offboarding Support

      • Assist with onboarding:
      • Prepare materials
      • Coordinate documentation
      • Support offboarding:
      • Track exit documentation
      • Assist with coordination
      • Ensure records are complete and accurate

    Communication & Coordination

      • Support HR communications:
      • Reminders
      • Updates
      • Documentation requests
      • Coordinate with team members and volunteers
      • Follow up on outstanding tasks

    Compliance & Documentation Support

      • Support compliance-related documentation tracking
      • Ensure records align with policy requirements
      • Maintain organized compliance files

    Workforce Administration Support

      • Assist with tracking:
      • Leave requests
      • Role/status changes
      • Workforce updates
      • Ensure proper documentation and updates

    HR Program Support

      • Support HR programs, including:
      • Training tracking
      • Recognition programs
      • Performance documentation
      • Assist with preparation of HR materials

    Process & Workflow Support

      • Support execution of HR workflows
      • Ensure processes are followed consistently
      • Contribute to smooth coordination across HR

    Continuous Support & Improvement

      • Identify opportunities to improve organization and efficiency
      • Support scalability of HR operations
      • Maintain a high level of accuracy and reliability

    Qualifications

    Required

      • 1–2 years of experience in administrative, HR support, or coordination roles (or equivalent experience)
      • Strong organizational and time management skills
      • High attention to detail and accuracy

    Preferred

      • Experience in nonprofit or volunteer-based organizations
      • Experience working in remote environments
      • Familiarity with Google Sheets or tracking tools
      • Interest in pursuing a career in HR

    Commitment

      • 6–10 hours per week
      • Flexible schedule (aligned with administrative support needs)
      • Participation in HR coordination activities as needed
      • Fully remote
