About Hollywood PAL
Hollywood PAL, a nonprofit organization dedicated to driving positive change within the community by partnering with LAPD and school-aged youth in programs that celebrate diversity, equity, and inclusion and inspire personal excellence, social awareness, and civic engagement. PAL is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join us for our upcoming Car show on April 28th to help with a variety of event related duties.
The Car Show
On May17th we are shutting down Hollywood blvd and filling it with fancy, famous and pic worthy cars. There will be food trucks, VIPs, photo ops, influencers and lots of cars.
The event is from 11am-3pm. We will start set up at 6am and will be all finished by 4pm
There are two volunteer shifts 8am-12noon and 12noon-4pm
The ideal volunteers will be energetic, friendly, hardworking and ok with being on their feet for long periods of time.
Volunteer Responsibilities:
- Directing cars to their location
- Directing traffic
- Setting up tables/tents etc
- Handing out waters
- Setting up and managing the VIP areas
- Taking pictures and video
- Supporting press
- Helping keep the street clean of litter
2 shifts available:
- Sunday May 17, 2026 - 08:00 to 12:00 PST
- Sunday May 17, 2026 - 12:00 to 14:00 PST
