The Animal Care Sanctuary (ACS) is looking for additional foster families to take animals into their homes and help with subsequent adoption efforts.
Fostering an animal helps ACS learn more about each animal so that they can find their perfect home. It also frees up space in the shelter to rescue another animal.
Fostering is a truly rewarding experience. The perspective of Jerene, one of the ACS fosters had this to say about her foster experience;"We find it richly rewarding to work with a foster animal. We get excited to know that this animal is soon going to be placed in a perfectly suited home after learning what a normal lifestyle is, and that makes our hearts happy."
If you are interested in learning more about ACS and their foster care network please visit the website where you will find the application for the foster care program or contact Emily Shaffer at (570) 596-2200 opt. 4 or eshaffer@animalcaresanctuary.org with any questions.
