Brand Ambassador!

Philly Peace in Progress is seeking a motivated and community-minded Brand Ambassador to help expand awareness of our organization, programs, and events throughout West Philadelphia. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people, representing a mission-driven organization in the community, and supporting outreach efforts that encourage volunteer participation, event attendance, and donor engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Distribute branded flyers and posters that effectively promote volunteer opportunities and community events.
• Distribute a variety of flyers to raise awareness about Philly Peace in Progress and its mission.
• Promote organizational programs and upcoming events by handing out flyers in targeted community locations.
• Post posters that support donation campaigns and help increase visibility for fundraising efforts.
• Represent the organization in a professional, respectful, and welcoming manner while engaging with community members.
• Share basic information about the organization, its services, and ways people can get involved.
• Provide feedback on outreach efforts, community response, and high-traffic locations that may be helpful for future outreach.

Schedule and Location

This is a part-time outreach opportunity requiring a few hours per month. Locations may vary from week to week based on outreach priorities, events, and neighborhoods being targeted throughout West Philadelphia. Candidates should be comfortable traveling to different community locations and adapting to changing outreach plans.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enthusiasm for community outreach and mission-driven work.
• Ability to work independently and follow weekly outreach assignments.
• Comfort engaging with diverse community members in public settings.
• Reliable, organized, and able to manage time effectively.
• Familiarity with West Philadelphia communities is a plus.
