The Shrine of Christ's Passion in St. John Indiana needs your help: Volunteer Tour Guides are urgently needed. If you are looking for an opportunity to stay active while serving your community, please consider joining us in sharing the Light.

DOCENTS:

• Volunteer to conduct pre-scheduled 1 to 1.5 hour guided walking and/or golf-cart driving tours during open Gift Shop hours.
• All training is provided. No religious affiliation required
• Anyone 18 or older with a valid driver's license is welcome to apply
• Educators, retirees, Tourism and Travel College Majors, parish and community recreation groups are encouraged
• Bi-lingual applicants (particularly in Spanish or Polish) are in great demand
• the volunteer-led tour season runs mid Lent through October 31st
• No minimum hours required to volunteer; help when you can help
• Volunteers view open shifts and self-schedule through our volunteer portal or the optional app.

WHO WE ARE: The Shrine of Christ's Passion is a free, multi-media interactive, half-mile winding walking Prayer Trail that depicts the last days of Jesus Christ’s life. Forty life-size bronze sculptures situated in a beautifully landscaped tranquil setting, complete with beautiful music, amazingly sculptured gardens allow people of all faiths to experience the Passion of the crucifixion and resurrection like never before.

The Shrine is operated by a non-denominational, nonprofit, 501(c)(3) private foundation. The proceeds from The Gift Shoppe and donations help to maintain the grounds.
