Surgical waiting room ambassador

The Surgical Waiting Area Volunteer has direct contact with physicians, hospital staff and family members of patients. The Volunteer is familiar with the layout of the hospital and is knowledgeable about visiting hours. The Volunteer acts as a hostess to visitors, prepares coffee and ensures there are cups and tea bags available for visitors. The Volunteer ensures that the waiting area is neat and clean and that the waiting area is safe. The Volunteer restocks cups, napkins, etc. as needed. The Volunteer maintains confidentiality and provides general and patient information within the guidelines established by HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital.

• Either morning shift 8am - noon or afternoon shift noon to 4pm.: 08:00 to 16:00 EST
