Job Description

Summary: This position is primarily responsible for coordinating the implementation of Philly Peace in Progress (PPIP) food distribution programs and initiatives related to fresh food and community engagement.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Positively contribute to an organizational culture of safe and secure food handling, warehousing and distribution.
• Ensure proper storage of food products.
• Receive and process customer orders.
• Organize and maintain inventory levels. Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

1. To perform this job successfully, a candidate must have attained a high school diploma or equivalent.
2. Must have a valid food handler certification.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to compute basic math.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
