SEO Specialist

At KBI, we're creating world-class STEM education—but it only matters if people can find us. We're looking for a Volunteer SEO Specialist who understands that search optimization isn't just technical—it's about ensuring that when a curious student searches for blockchain education, AI learning, or quantum computing programs, they discover KBI.

This is a role for someone who sees SEO as the bridge between great content and the people who need it. Your optimization will help KBI's mission reach students, educators, and families across the Greater Bay Area and beyond.

What you will do

You will be the navigator helping people discover KBI through search. This means conducting keyword research to identify what our audience is actually searching for, optimizing website content, meta tags, and structure so search engines understand our value, analyzing traffic data to continuously improve our visibility, developing link-building strategies that boost our credibility, collaborating with content and marketing teams to align SEO with our mission, monitoring and reporting on metrics so we learn what works, and attending biweekly 30-minute virtual meetings to share insights and strategize together.

You're data-driven but never lose sight of the humans behind the search queries. You want your SEO work to help educational opportunities reach students who might otherwise never discover them.
