Here is what Welcomers do:

• Visit the profiles of people who have just joined the platform
• Leave a warm, genuine, personal welcome message on their profile or first post — something that sounds like a real human wrote it, because you did
• Point them towards whatever part of the platform seems most relevant to them based on their profile
• React to their first post so they know someone is actually reading
• Answer any basic questions they have about how the platform works
• If someone's first post suggests they are struggling, gently point them toward the Safe Space

You will be brilliant at this if you:

• Naturally make people feel comfortable in new situations
• Are the kind of person who notices when someone looks lost and goes to ask if they need help
• Can write a genuine, warm message without it sounding like a template
• Are reliable enough to check in on the platform a few times a week
