Must be 18 or older; general background check; fundraising experience.

Overview of Position: Helps create and carry out the development plan and activities of the agency

Benefits to the Volunteer: Being part of a great team of people working to fund important programs and services

Specific Tasks:

to assist the agency in creating and executing a development plan to ensure the financial stability of the organization,
to make recommendations regarding fundraising events and campaigns,
to raise funds for the organization through personal giving, as well as solicitation from businesses, individuals, and foundations,
to serve as a resource and support for staff and volunteers,
to serve as ambassadors and information-providers to the community, keeping TIHAN connected to our constituents and partners, and
other duties as needed

Time Required: 4-10 hours/month

Qualifications/Experience:

Preferred: previous experience serving on a non-profit board or development committee, background in fundraising
