Meals on Wheels Delivery- FREMONT NE

Help us Deliver: Nutrition(a hot balance meal), Support(allows aging adult to stay in their homes), Security (provides a safety net to check on those who do not answer), A Smile (a smile and the knowledge that you may be the only person the recipient sees that day!)

Meals on Wheels volunteers deliver midday meals and a friendly greeting to home-bound older adults in Fremont. We are looking for regular volunteers to help

Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays as well as volunteers to be on our substitute list.

Volunteer 1-1 ½ hours of your time

Routes have 5-10 stops and are delivered between 11am and 1pm.

Meals are picked up at the Fremont Friendship Center and delivered along a pre-determined route directly to the homes of seniors. Volunteers are enrolled through an application and screening process before getting set up with a route.
