2026 Pride Millvale Day-Of Volunteers!

Pride Millvale volunteers can expect to foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for people looking to celebrate their identities within the LGBTQIA+ community (though volunteers do not have to be members of the community themselves).

Our event will feature local vendors, organizations, resources, and entertainment - that all comes with plenty of set up, maintenance, and teardown!

Interested volunteers should be prepared to spend the day on their feet and in the sun*, receptive to short-term needs of the event, and able to participate in communication via a group communication app.

Training will be required to ensure that all Pride Millvale volunteers are informed and aware of the specific language and considerations for hosting an event for the LGBTQIA+ community. You will also receive a free Pride Millvale t-shirt to wear on the day of the event!

• Volunteer opportunities can easily be tailored to individual accessibility needs (ex: needing to sit, access to shade, longer/shorter shifts, written instructions, working with a partner, etc).

We're looking for people to help the evening before, the day of, and the Sunday following! Below are the time-slots we are looking to fill. Tasks will vary based on need.

• Event Set-Up the evening prior: Fri June 19, 2026 - 7PM to 9PM
• Help with setting up and directing Pride participants: Saturday June 20, 2026 - 10AM to Noon
• Manning volunteer stations, directing attendees to attractions: Saturday June 20, 2026 - Noon to 2PM
• Manning volunteer stations, directing attendees to attractions: Saturday June 20, 2026 - 2PM to 4PM
• Manning volunteer stations, directing attendees to attractions: Saturday June 20, 2026 - 4PM to 6PM
• Teardown and Cleanup: Saturday June 20, 2026 - 6PM to 8PM
• Inventory & Final Pack-Up: Sunday June 28, 2026 - 4PM to 8PM
