Litigation Counsel Network | WhiteKnight
Help redefine how legal services are delivered to victims of fraud.
WhiteKnight is building a select network of litigation attorneys who want to combine traditional advocacy with technology, AI-assisted workflows, and a mission-driven practice. We are currently seeking New York attorneys for immediate opportunities, while also expanding our nationwide panel for future matters.
WhiteKnight is the only nonprofit dedicated to helping small businesses victimized by identity theft, business impersonation, check fraud, banking fraud, and other forms of financial crime. Every day, deserving victims are unable to obtain legal representation because the economics of traditional litigation simply do not work.
We’re changing that.
Using experienced paralegals, litigation support professionals, proprietary case management software, AI-assisted workflows, and crime victim advocacy technology, we reduce the administrative burden on attorneys so they can focus on what only lawyers can do: legal analysis, strategy, negotiation, filings, and courtroom advocacy.
One hundred percent of our clients are referred through a growing network of more than 70 crime victim advocacy programs and partner organizations. Attorneys working with WhiteKnight receive mission-driven matters backed by trusted referral sources rather than spending time or money on marketing.
Flexible Engagements
Many assignments are intentionally limited in scope, including:
- Reviewing and revising pleadings prepared by our litigation support team.
- Signing and filing court papers.
- Limited-scope appearances where permitted.
- Motion practice.
- Strategic consultation on discrete issues.
- Expanded representation only when mutually agreed.
Our immediate need is for New York counsel familiar with Supreme Court practice, including limited-scope representations under CPLR 321(d).
Why Join WhiteKnight?
- Make a measurable impact for victims who otherwise would have no meaningful access to counsel.
- Work with an AI-enabled litigation support team that minimizes administrative work.
- Accept only the matters and scope of representation that fit your practice.
- Build a long-term referral relationship with a nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to justice.
- Help shape what many believe is the future of efficient, technology-enabled legal practice.
As a nonprofit, we strive to maximize services for crime victims. We therefore ask participating attorneys to consider sliding-scale, reduced-fee, or other mission-driven fee arrangements whenever feasible. Our goal is not to discount the value of legal services, but to make representation possible for clients who would otherwise go without it while creating an efficient model that respects attorneys’ time.
We expect demand for these referrals to continue growing as additional victim advocacy organizations join our network. Because we are intentionally building a small panel of trusted counsel, we are filling these relationships on a rolling basis.
