Looking for a meaningful way to give back, but not sure where to start? Join a Hero To A Child Volunteer Information Session to learn more about our mission and the many ways you can support children and young adults in foster care throughout Pinellas and Pasco Counties.
Information sessions are held virtually via Zoom, but most volunteer opportunities take place in Pinellas and Pasco Counties. Participants should live locally or be able to volunteer within our service area.
Whether you want to volunteer once a year, occasionally, or on a regular basis, there is a place for you. Opportunities may include special events, donation drives, our Resource Closet, holiday programs, administrative or project-based assistance, and other needs throughout the year.
After the session, those interested can join our volunteer database to hear about upcoming opportunities and choose when and how they'd like to participate based on their interests and availability.
No previous volunteer experience is required, and attending an information session does not commit you to volunteering.

Submit your interest through Idealist and a Hero To A Child team member will follow up with information and a Zoom link for an upcoming session. Most volunteer opportunities are in Pinellas and Pasco Counties, so volunteers should be able to serve locally.
