Assistant Cheer Coach

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head Coach during practices, games, and events
• Help teach basic cheer techniques, chants, routines, and sideline cheers
• Encourage teamwork, discipline, and positive behavior
• Provide support, motivation, and guidance to all participants
• Help supervise youth to ensure a safe and respectful environment
• Assist with practice setup, organization, and communication with parents when needed
• Commit to supporting the team throughout the entire cheer season

Qualifications:

• Passion for working with youth and making a positive impact
• Positive, patient, and encouraging attitude
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Cheer, dance, or coaching experience is a plus (not required)

Additional Details:

• This is a volunteer position
• Practices are held Tuesdays & Thursdays, 5:45 PM – 7:00 PM
• Location: Kathy Drive Park, Baton Rouge, LA
