Description
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Coach during practices, games, and events
- Help teach basic cheer techniques, chants, routines, and sideline cheers
- Encourage teamwork, discipline, and positive behavior
- Provide support, motivation, and guidance to all participants
- Help supervise youth to ensure a safe and respectful environment
- Assist with practice setup, organization, and communication with parents when needed
- Commit to supporting the team throughout the entire cheer season
Qualifications:
- Passion for working with youth and making a positive impact
- Positive, patient, and encouraging attitude
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Cheer, dance, or coaching experience is a plus (not required)
Additional Details:
- This is a volunteer position
- Practices are held Tuesdays & Thursdays, 5:45 PM – 7:00 PM
- Location: Kathy Drive Park, Baton Rouge, LA
- Opportunity to gain experience in coaching, leadership, and youth mentorship
